Full Stack
Our mission is to make battery storage solutions easier to deploy, safe and highly economical, assisting to achieve zero carbon footprint. Our solution includes hardware and software, which essentially the combination results with highly efficient use of battery energy storage systems (BESS).
Responsibilities:
- You will be part of a team, working on powerful energy management applications.
- Addressing challenges all the way from local data acquisition to cloud driven operation.
- We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual who can lead “end-to-end” features from requirement to release. The role will require a strong technical background for approaching challenges and crossing all product layers and technologies.
- You will build scalable solutions in a fast-growing environment, and contribute to the design and architecture of existing / new features.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience with NodeJS/Java, Angular.
- Solid knowledge in OOP and software design methodologies.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- A good understanding of modern CSS and the web platform.
- A team player who likes working with the most up to date frameworks and libraries.
- Passionate about ensuring best practices are met.
- Focus on quality and simplicity.
- Familiar with energy storage and have an electrical orientation – advantage
- Familiarity with real-time systems – advantage.
- GIT experience.
Senior Technical Solution Expert, Europe
Sparkion is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Solution Expert with strong technical expertise and presentation skills to join our team and to help drive our growth in Europe.
The candidate will be responsible for supporting sales processes as well as initial customer rollouts and POC’s; Responsibilities shall include the following: perform initial needs assessment, execute business and technical analysis, assess technical readiness for solution, perform solution demos, evaluate integration and implementation plans, respond to RFI’s and RFP’s and support the preparation of price proposals. The Senior Solution Expert shall report to the VP of Product at Sparkion.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Help support customer implementations, particularly POC’s and initial roll outs, including all technically-related aspects
- Work closely with the projects team and sales team in meeting clients, attending exhibitions and trade shows to walk through the Sparkion solution suite
- Responsible for the writing and organization of technical documentation for sales processes
- Cooperate with the product development center to provide market feedback on productization.
- Analyze customer business requirements and define future needs based Sparkion best practices
Skills Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in electrical engineering/ renewables/ power systems, or similar.
- Minimum 4 years of working experience in the field of energy storage, EV charging, energy markets, renewable energy, utilities market or similar.
- Fluent in English to liaise with clients, colleagues in different countries. Other languages- a plus.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
- Have a strong sense of cooperation, sense of responsibility, and the ability to solve problems independently.
- Willing to travel
- Service oriented, results driven and with technical capabilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
